On Tuesday I went and bought the new Miley Cyrus cd...and it has some REALLY AWESOME lyrics!! Well one of the songs that stood out to me the most is a song called "Wake Up America" ...At the beginning she's challenging the listener to take better care of the world whether it's not littering or saving energy, and saying that maybe you can spare at least 1 second of concidering what you do before you do it, think before you litter or trash the environment in any way. She's saying that she doesn't really understand global warming and going green but what she does know is that it seems to be telling America to wake up and realize that we're all in this together, it's our home, we live here so in order to have a better environment to live in we've got to work together in keeping it clean and safe and realize that everything you do matters, no matter how big or small, it matters in SOME WAY! Then she's telling America that they need to wake up again and she challenges the listener to just give our earth our home just a little attention whether it's keeping the grass green or taking care of the animals, or something and she's challenging us to take care of our planet because it's easy to be distracted by the things going on in our planet like murder and other thing than to be worried about the earth itself! and she contiues to tell America to wake up and says that she knows they don't really wanna hear it, especially coming from someone her age....but we need to stand up and take better care of our planet. It's so true but no one realizes how important it is because they are sucked into the things ON the planet and not the planet itself! Well I hope you listened and enjoyed the song!...
